WET OR WITH WET LENS TISSUE, THE

COATING WILL BE DAMAGED.

NOTE

IF INCLEMENT OPERATING CONDITIONS

ARE EXPECTED TO EXIST (E.G. SIGNIFICANT

TEMPERATURE CHANGE AND HIGH

HUMIDITY), INSTALL DEMIST SHIELD TO

MINIMIZE EYEPIECE LENS FOG PRIOR TO

EXECUTION OF MISSION.

2.6 19mm Lens Cover Installation:

The UTAM units are issued with the lens covers pre-installed.

Perform the following procedures to install the lens cover on the

19mm objective lens.
